We are looking for teachers with good subject knowledge and a passion for teaching. If you have been teaching Mathematics/Science/Social Studies/Languages (English/Hindi/ Kannada/Tamil) in a school, college or university, we invite you to apply to us.

We have two different work areas for which you can apply.


Role 1 : Teacher, in Azim Premji Schools

Azim Premji Schools offer high-quality and equitable education, and are in areas that are inadequately served. You will encourage conceptual understanding, and help students develop as critical, creative and sensitive citizens.
Our schools are in:
Dhamtari (Chhattisgarh);
Yadgir (Karnataka);
Sirohi & Tonk (Rajasthan);
Uttarkashi & Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand)

Role 2 : Teacher Educator, in our District Institutes

You will work with other school teachers, helping them build their professional abilities and become better teachers.
Our District Institutes are in various districts of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.

A postgraduate degree in your subject
A teaching qualification (D.Ed., B.Ed., or equivalent)
At least 3 years of teaching experience
Ability to speak, read and write in the local language
